During the months of September and October, four young beneficiaries of the Garantia Juvenil program have joined IDIBGI through an internship contract for a period of 6 months. Specifically, two laboratory technicians have joined the Biobanc, a laboratory technician and a project management technician.

The action is part of the call for grants to encourage the hiring of young beneficiaries of the Garantia Juvenil Program in Catalonia for the year 2021 of the Catalan Employment Service, funded by the European Social Fund and the Youth Employment Initiative, within the framework of the Youth Employment Operational Program, the Generalitat and the Ministry of Labor.

The aim of the action is to encourage the hiring of young people, improve employability through the acquisition of skills and competencies derived from professional practice and promote the hiring of professionals to non-profit organizations and public administrations.
