The Girona Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBGI) and the Fundació Hospital d'Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting biomedical research and innovation among the centre's professionals.

This agreement, signed a few weeks ago, establishes the regulatory bases for carrying out joint scientific or technological research programmes or projects in the field of biomedical research and health sciences, as well as for promoting training activities for research staff. Both centres can also promote the publication of all types of publications related to research in the field of biomedical research and innovation and health sciences.

This collaboration was kicked off this afternoon with a presentation ceremony in the auditorium of the Olot Hospital. Dr. Marga Nadal, director of IDIBGI, presented the Institute and its lines of work to the Foundation's health professionals.

Apart from this agreement with the Foundation, IDIBGI has also signed agreements with other health institutions in the counties of Girona. These are the Fundació Salut Empordà (FSE), the Serveis de Salut Integrats del Baix Empordà (SSIBE) and the Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva (CSMS).
