In order to continue advancing biomedical research in Girona
A new edition of El Sopar dels Miralls is back, an innovative and unique social event organised to support research for the Girona Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBGI). The fourth edition of the dinner, organised by Planella Events in conjunction with IDIBGI, has already been set for Friday 15 March at the Mas Solà Restaurant in Santa Coloma de Farners.
Looking up to someone, following their example or imitating them is a desire shared by many people, young and old alike. The Sopar dels Miralls is an original and unprecedented opportunity to share a table with that person we admire, contributing to a good cause and accompanied by an emblematic space.
Following the success of the last edition, when the charity event was revived after the pandemic, this new edition of the dinner, whose format has always been very well received by the participants, is being promoted. During the month of January, registrations are expected to open and the first hosts for the 2024 evening will be announced. For those who are unable to attend, but would like to support the cause, the website will also allow you to make a contribution with the "0 plate" option.
Renowned hosts such as Carme Ruscalleda, Tomás Molina, Jordi Villacampa, Jaime Alonso-Cuevillas, Josep Carreras, and Pilar Rahola, among many others, have participated in previous editions, sharing a table with representatives of companies, organisations and also individuals who have wanted to do their bit for biomedical research. The personalities who will take part in the 2024 edition will soon be announced.
IDIBGI: "Your health, our research".
