IDIBGI researcher receives a Nutrients 2024 Travel Award

Pre-doctoral researcher Ariadna Gómez Vilarrubla from the Maternal-Fetal Metabolic Research Group at the Girona Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBGI) has received the Nutrients 2024 Travel Award. This recognition will allow Gómez to attend the international congress organised by the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology, 62nd Annual ESPE Meeting 2024, to be held in November in Liverpool. During this event, he will present his studies focused on the epigenetics of childhood obesity, a topic of vital importance in the field of global health.

The Maternal-Fetal Metabolic Research Group at IDIBGI, in which Gómez works, focuses its research on the identification of epigenetic marks associated with metabolic alterations in pregnancy and offspring.
