The Girona Biomedical Research Institute Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI) held the second meeting of its Business Council, an advisory body comprised of prominent representatives from the business and industrial sectors of the Girona region. The goal of this council is to bring biomedical research closer to the productive sector, foster innovation and define shared strategies for the future Girona Health Campus.

This collaborative space enables the identification of sectoral needs, the establishment of synergies, and the development of joint projects that foster innovation and have a positive impact on society’s health and well-being. In this regard, the future Health Campus presents an opportunity to strengthen the link between scientific research and the business sector, positioning Girona as a benchmark in biomedical research and technology transfer.
