The Institut d'Investigació Biomèdica de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI) has received a donation from the Agrupació IPA Girona, the Girona branch of the International Police Association. This donation highlights the IPA Girona's commitment to Associative Social Responsibility (ASR), thus contributing to projects that benefit the Girona community.
This year, the IPA Girona has decided to focus its contribution on biomedical research, selecting IDIBGI as the recipient of its donation. The decision was based on the large number and quality of the research projects that IDIBGI carries out, which aim to improve the health and well-being of the population.
The donation was formalised during a visit to IDIBGI by the president of the IPA Girona Group, Joaquim Otal, and its secretary, Alfons González, where they met with IDIBGI's Head of Patronage, Ferran Pedró. From IDIBGI we would like to thank the IPA Girona Group for deciding to allocate this contribution to support IDIBGI's biomedical research!
Agrupació IPA Girona, a non-profit association dedicated to serving social and social policies, exercises its Associative Social Responsibility (ASR) in its activities. This initiative includes making an annual contribution to an NGO, foundation, association or non-profit organisation that works in favour of the most vulnerable, social justice, environmental protection, animal welfare, among other causes. The recipient organisations must carry out their activities within the Girona area.
