24 September is World Cancer Research Day, a good day to remember the importance of research into this group of diseases, and to awaken scientific vocations!

Researchers from the Precision Oncology research group (IDIBGI - Catalan Institute of Oncology) explained how they study blood and what clues it can give us to investigate some types of cancer.

The children were also able to ‘pipette’ during the activity, held at the Girona centre and organised by the AECC Girona. Many thanks to researchers Anna Carbó, Roser Fort and Eduard Teixidor, for raising awareness of their research!
