L’Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona Dr. Josep Trueta (IDIBGI) ha estrenat un espai online que presenta projectes de recerca en salut que necessiten recursos. Es tracta de la Cartera de projectes, un aparador dels estudis que es duen a terme a l’IDIBGI i que necessiten finançament. Aquests projectes en diversos àmbits de la salut tenen l’objectiu de revertir en la millora del diagnòstic, la prevenció i el tractament de les malalties que afecten a la societat. Així, la recerca feta a Girona repercuteix en una millor assistència a la nostra població.
En aquest espai online, els estudis es classifiquen en vuit temàtiques de la salut: càncer, cardiovascular, COVID-19, diabetis i obesitat, neurociències, respiratori, salut mental i sistema digestiu. També s’hi detallen els objectius que persegueix cada projecte i la metodologia que se seguirà. Aquesta eina facilita a particulars i empreses la descoberta d’aquests projectes, i els obre la porta a contribuir-hi directament fent-los una donació.
Aquesta és una de les principals novetats que presenta la pàgina web de l’IDIBGI, que ha estat renovada en els darrers mesos. La nova web de l’IDIBGI presenta tota la informació relativa a l’activitat del centre d’investigació, com les publicacions, projectes, assaigs clínics i patents. El portal també inclou un directori del personal investigador que forma part de l’Institut. D’altra banda, la pàgina web obre noves vies per col·laborar amb l’IDIBGI tant per a particulars com per a organitzacions, a través de donacions directes o, fins i tot, organitzant iniciatives solidàries, així com la possibilitat de deixar un llegat solidari.
The Girona Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBGI) has launched an online space that presents health research projects in need of resources. This is the Project Portfolio, a space where the studies carried out at IDIBGI and in need of funding are shown. These projects in different areas of health aim to improve the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases in society. Thus, the research carried out in Girona has an impact on better care for our population.
