The Nephrology Group aims to develop renal substitutive home treatments, mainly peritoneal dialysis. It also studies the macrovascular and microvascular affectation of inflammatory markers and mineral metabolism markers in chronic kidney disease and its most frequent pathologies: arterial hypertension and diabetic nephropathy.

Strategic objectives

Consolidar la metodologia d’estudi del risc cardiovascular i la càrrega ateromatosa del pacients amb malaltia renal crònica, hipertensió arterial i diabetis mellitus amb nefropatia diabètica.
