Bernat-Carles Serdà is a professor and researcher at the University of Girona (Spain). His research focuses on Quality of Life and chronic malignancies. In 2010, he received a special PhD award for his Thesis. Furthermore, he has designed and undertaken multiple clinical rehabilitation programs to improve QoL in the disease continuum. Nowadays, he is supervising several thesis using mixed methods in this research field. He has been given several pre-doctoral and post-doctoral grants for international academic stays. He has attended several national and international conferences and held more than 50 international conferences. Dr Serdà is now working with national and international collaborators to build his research program in the emerging field of Quality of Life and Chronic diseases.
