Collection of samples from patients diagnosed with renal glomerular disease through renal biopsy within the framework of the Spanish Society of Nephrology’s group for glomerular diseases (GLOSEN).
Kidney tissue from the diagnostic surplus of the biopsy and samples of serum, plasma, buffy coat and urine, obtained during hospitalization after a kidney biopsy is performed.
GLOSEN's main objective is to conduct clinical, epidemiological, multicentric, prospective or retrospective studies in the field of primary and secondary glomerular diseases. Having this collection of samples will allow studies to improve the knowledge of pathophysiology and the treatment of kidney diseases with a low prevalence, but which are one of the main causes of the need for substitutive renal treatment in young patients.
