Type of donor

• Patients undergoing an allogenic transplant of hematopoietic progenitors and their donors. Blood extraction is matched by standard transplant procedures.
• Sign informed consent.
• Number: over 800 donor / recipient pairs.

Type of samples

Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and DNA.

Collection points

• The samples come from any hospital that is part of the Grupo Español de Trasplantes Hematopoyeticos y Terapia Celular (GETH) [Spanish Group for Hematopoietic Transplants and Cellular Therapy].

Purpose

Working to improve the quality of life of patients undergoing hematopoietic transplantation through the research and development of new therapeutic strategies, as well as promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge related to these types of transplants, cell therapy and cooperation between teams specialized in this disease.
