The IDIBGI and Estrella Polar Publishing House invite you to the presentation in Vic of the children's story "The Adventures of Bio and Medi" by Pilarin Bayés and Martí Gironell. A story created to bring health and research closer to the little ones, made possible thanks to the support of the Foundation for Research and Innovation (Joan Oró 2023). The presentation is in collaboration with the Pilarin Bayés Library in Vic and the bookstore El Cafè de les Lletres.

In this story, Bio and Medi, two twins with an innate curiosity, start asking questions about the human body when Bio catches a cold. Thanks to a magic potion, Medi travels inside Bio’s body to the lungs, exploring the respiratory system and meeting characters that play an important role in the immune system. The story, in addition to captivating young readers with illustrations by Pilarin Bayés, promotes a positive view of health, all while connecting with IDIBGI's biomedical research through the narrative of Martí Gironell.
